DOCOMO advises customers to check that WORLD WING is active, confirm that their device is supported in the destination, and then choose the appropriate overseas data service. If you use DOCOMO, check: * Your current DOCOMO roaming Canada option * Data allowance * Validity * Voice-call charges * SMS * Required settings before departure For a short visit, DOCOMO roaming may be enough. For several months in Canada, compare the full roaming cost with an ongoing Canadian plan.
au by KDDI
au currently offers au Overseas Unlimited for international data use, and its current materials include Canada among the destinations eligible for its overseas service. If you use au, check: * Your current au Canada roaming option * Whether advance booking gives you a different rate * How long the package lasts * Data conditions * Calls and SMS au has also expanded its Starlink Direct overseas service to Canada on supported devices and in eligible areas, but that is a separate satellite-based feature rather than a replacement for normal mobile roaming. After the included amount is used, overseas data continues at reduced speed unless additional data is purchased.
