Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 22, 2026

This page was drafted for Get Canada Sim's ordering flow and business model, using the office and contact details confirmed by the business owner (Dhaka, Bangladesh as the registered base; Surrey, BC as a Canada service office). Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer before you rely on it — in particular Section 16 (governing law), since cross-border terms for a Bangladesh-based business serving Canada-bound customers need real legal input, not template language.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Get Canada Sim website at getcanadasim.com (the “Website”) and the SIM card and eSIM ordering services we provide (together, the “Services”). “Get Canada Sim”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of the Website and Services. “You” refers to anyone who visits the Website or places an order.

By browsing the Website, submitting an order, or applying to our partner program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or Services.

1. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, to reflect a new plan, carrier partner, or pickup location. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continuing to use the Website or placing a new order after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Who we are

Get Canada Sim is a pre-arrival ordering service for Canadian mobile plans. We are an authorized reseller working with Canadian network carriers — currently Rogers, Fido, and chatr — and are not the network operator ourselves. Coverage, network performance, and carrier-side outages are the responsibility of the underlying carrier, not Get Canada Sim.

3. Who can order

Our Services are aimed at newcomers, international students, temporary and permanent workers, and tourists travelling to Canada. You must be at least 18 years old, or order with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. When you order, you agree to give us accurate, current information — including your name, contact details, arrival date, and identity documents — and to promptly tell us if anything changes before your number activates. Orders placed with false or misleading information may be delayed, put on hold, or cancelled.

4. Identity documents & verification

Canadian carriers require identity verification before activating a mobile number, so every order requires a photo or PDF of your passport. Depending on your plan and status, you may also upload a study permit, work permit, or permanent residence confirmation — tourists ordering a short-stay plan only need a passport. We review documents, typically within a few hours, and may contact you if something is unclear or doesn't match your order. We may refuse, delay, or cancel an order if we cannot verify your identity or reasonably suspect fraud.

Uploaded documents are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in private, access-controlled storage. We use them only to verify your identity for activation and never sell or share them for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on how we collect, use, and store your information, and how to request deletion.

5. Orders, pricing & payment

Placing an order does not take payment from you. We first verify your documents and confirm your plan, pricing, and activation details with you; you complete payment only at checkout, after that confirmation. Nothing is charged before then.

  • Prices shown on the Website are the pre-arrival offer in Canadian dollars and are subject to change; the price confirmed with you at checkout is the one that applies to your order.
  • Postpaid plans (currently our Rogers and Fido monthly plans) carry a grace period: you use the plan first and payment isn't due until 20 days after activation. Prepaid plans (currently our chatr short-stay plans) are paid up front for the plan period at checkout.
  • There are no contracts, no setup fees, and no Canadian credit history or credit check required to order.
  • Paying a postpaid plan on time can help you start building a Canadian credit history.

6. Delivery & activation

You choose eSIM or physical SIM delivery when you order. An eSIM is sent to your email as a QR code once your documents are verified; a physical SIM is prepared for free pickup at one of our airport pickup locations, with the exact counter and instructions sent to your email. Either way, your number is generally activated up to 24 hours before the arrival date you gave us at checkout, so it is ready when you land.

You're responsible for making sure your device is unlocked and, for eSIM, that it supports eSIM technology. We'll help you check compatibility before you order, but we're not responsible for a device that cannot accept the SIM or eSIM type you chose.

7. Plan changes, cancellations & refunds

Because there's no contract, you can switch plans or cancel at any time by contacting our support team — for example, moving from a short-stay plan to a monthly plan if your trip extends. If you cancel before your number is activated and before any payment has been taken, no charge applies. Once a plan period has started or a payment has been processed, refunds are handled case by case; contact us and we'll work it out with you.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to help anyone else:

  • use the Website or Services for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, defraud, or impersonate anyone;
  • submit false identity documents or information, or order on behalf of someone without their knowledge;
  • resell, share, or transfer a Get Canada Sim number or plan to someone other than the person we verified, without our consent;
  • interfere with the security or normal operation of the Website, or attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours; or
  • use automated tools to scrape, spam, or overload the Website or our order forms.

We may refuse service, suspend a number, or cancel an order to anyone who breaches this section, and may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

9. Partner program

Travel agencies, immigration consultants, education agents, and retailers may apply to become a Get Canada Sim partner through our partner program. Partner accounts, commission rates, and referral attribution are subject to acceptance by us and to the specific terms provided to approved partners through the partner portal, in addition to these Terms. We may decline an application, or suspend or terminate a partner account, for breach of those terms or of this Section.

10. Intellectual property

The Website and its content — including text, graphics, logos, and design — are owned by Get Canada Sim or our licensors and are protected by Canadian copyright and trademark law. You may view and use the Website for your own personal, non-commercial purpose of researching and ordering a plan; you may not copy, republish, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

Rogers, Fido, chatr, and other carrier and brand names, logos, and marks referenced on the Website are the property of their respective owners and are used to describe the networks our plans run on. Their use does not imply that those carriers operate the Website or endorse Get Canada Sim beyond our reseller relationship with them.

11. Third-party links & service availability

The Website may link to third-party sites, including carrier websites, for your convenience. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content or practices of sites we don't operate. Plans, pickup locations, and pricing are intended for use in Canada and may not be available in every region or to every traveller; where something isn't available to you, we'll let you know during document verification.

12. Disclaimers

We work to keep the Website accurate and our Services reliable, but the Website and Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We don't guarantee that the Website will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that carrier network coverage, speeds, or performance will meet your expectations — those depend on the underlying carrier's network, which is outside our control. Nothing on the Website is a guarantee of a specific outcome for your immigration, study, or travel plans.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Get Canada Sim is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Website or Services — such as lost profits, lost data, or missed appointments caused by a delayed activation or a carrier network issue. Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. This section does not limit any liability that cannot be limited under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Get Canada Sim, our employees, and our carrier and partner network harmless from claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or identity documents you submit that turn out to be false or not your own.

15. Termination

We may suspend or cancel your order, number, or access to the Website at our discretion if we believe these Terms have been breached, if we can't verify your identity, or if we reasonably suspect fraud. If you're unhappy with the Website or Services, your option is to stop using them and, where applicable, cancel your plan as described in Section 7.

16. Governing law & dispute resolution

Get Canada Sim is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and also operates a service and support office in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles. If a dispute arises that we can't resolve informally by contacting each other first, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court to protect our intellectual property or confidential information. Nothing in this section limits any protection you're entitled to under mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country of residence, where that law cannot be excluded by agreement.

17. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Get Canada Sim regarding your use of the Website and Services. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms are entered into with Get Canada Sim, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
